Forever Young

Some of us were over at Jenny's house to do Tai Bo yesterday. It was a good workout...those workout videos are just no fun to do alone :) Billy Blanks kicked our butts. I know a bunch of you are into the weight-loss thing right now, so I thought I'd post this article that might prove helpful: 7 Diet Sins. Good tips!

I just realized I didn't set this thing up so that the comments would be e-mailed to me. So I just saw everyone's comments on the first post! Terri had some in-between newsletter announcements:

-A date has been set for Dora's shower: Sunday, April 3rd. The Wedding is May 20th!

Attention all mix-master CD burners of the family. I don't know about the rest of you but I love love love making mixed CD's with themes. I have a couple friends at work that enjoy the same, so every month we make a CD on a chosen theme, and burn copies for each other. It's a great way to hear new music and learn about people.

Soooooooo... I thought how about make a family-themed CD, and get other family members to do the same? So here's the scoop...make a mixed CD with the theme of "Family" (feel free to interpret that theme however you like...maybe it's songs that remind you of individuals, songs with the word "family" in 'em, songs with family names in them, etc.), and we'll figure out some way to exchange them! We need a deadline, of course. I'd say a month from today should be plenty of time. March 17th!

Welcome, family! This is the Young family blog! Not sure what a blog is? Here's a good basic explanation. There are blogs about everything...see? Heck, there's even a blog about blogs!!!

I thought we needed one. So here it is.

I thought it would be a good place to link to fun & helpful websites, post favorite recipes, and any other in-between-newsletter announcements. I was also thinking that a picture every once in awhile would be neat. Anyone opposed to that? I'm also hoping you all will contribute. If you have any ideas, links, questions or just general ramblings that you want to share with everyone, e-mail it to me (hotstepher@yahoo.com) and I'll see to it that it gets posted here. Or, if you sign up with blogger (it's free), I can add you as a contributor, and you can post directly to the blog (very easy to do).

Also, if you have a website you'd like me to add to the links section over there, let me know. So far I just have tim's, phil's band, and my food blog (okay so i'm a bit obsessed with the blogging thing).
