beatlemaniacs
Last night Lucy took Dan, Christy, Annie and I to see "1964, A Tribute" at the Pageant. They're a Beatles tribute band. They do a great job of sounding and looking like the guys, so we had a lot of fun. Except Dan forgot his I.D. and got kicked out for holding a beer...right before the band went on. He and Lucy went home for the ID and made it back for the second half of the show. I thought I'd share some neat-o Beatles links:

I was fortunate enough to visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame while they had the John Lennon exibit. He's of course my favorite Beatle, and in general one of my favorite people of all time. They had a round room filled with his hand-written song lyrics. It was really powerful being in the same room as his personal writings. I had to sit down. I may have cried a little.

Some of John Lennon's art I saw a traveling exibit of this once, too. I like his art. Simple, happy. There were some collages at the Hall of fame exibit, too. They were pretty.
