words
This morning as we were about to walk out the door, I whined "I don't wanna go to work today." So Jack stops and says "O.K., let's stay home!." I kind of half giggled in that "yeah right" kind of way and continued out the door.
Jack didn't move. "I'm serious, if you don't want to go to work, don't go!" and closed the door behind me, leaving me out in the hall to realize how whiney I sounded.
"Okay, okay, let's go, and I'll stop whining. Jeez."
At work, looking over my inbox, yesterday's "Daily OM" caught my eye. It's an article called You Are What You Speak, about being more concious of the words you use and how they effect your life. How speaking positive helps you to think more positive. So today I'm going to think more about my words, what they mean and if they express what I really want to say.

you must be positive but also aware
I think that's something I struggle with. I'm more of a hopeless optimist...not always thinking of the worst case scenario can leave me unprepared.
Have you seen "What the Bleep do we know?" It's all about the power of positive thought. Like, we can make our lives better by thinking it better. Pretty cool. here's the website
